I’m 37 years old. I’m a wife and a mother to two boys, ages 8 and 10. On April 2, 2018, the lower half of my breast turned white and raised and felt like fiberglass was in it. I went to my obgyn that same day. She suspected inflammatory breast cancer. I had a mammo and ultrasound done two days later. I started chemo exactly one month later on May 2, 2018. I have chemo for 6 months till mid October. Then onto surgery then radiation. I have a deep sense of responsibility to spread the word about inflammatory breast cancer because it is so unknown by almost everyone I’ve been in contact with. You can reach me with any questions or comments at inflammatorybreastcancerblog@gmail.com I’d love to hear from you.
